Meet The Owners: Lauren Schilling & Laura Haggerty
Lauren Schilling (Owner) -
I have always been an animal lover and involved with animals. I grew
up pet sitting for all types of animals including dogs, cats, horses,
birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, iguanas, and fish. I owned a Pekingese named Sophie
and a Peruvian Guinea Pig named Punch. I also rode and leased Quarter
Horses for ten years. I graduated from the State University of New York
at Buffalo in 2005. I worked for many years at a boarding and daycare
kennel as well as being a professionally certified dog groomer. I have
also done a lot of animal rescue work with the SPCA. I am certified in
pet first aid and I stay up-to-date with the latest information in the
pet care industry.
I currently reside in Amherst with my six-year-old Boxer mix named Lincoln who I rescued at the age of one from Second Chance Boxer Rescue. He is truly my best friend.
Laura Haggerty (Owner) -
I have had animals my whole life and have been volunteering at local
animal shelters since high school. I attended William Smith College and
moved to the Buffalo area upon graduation in 2003. I adopted my dog
McKenzie my junior year and knew at that moment that I wanted to work
with animals for the rest of my life and have been working with them
ever since! I have worked in a doggie daycare, as management in a pet
retail environment, and as a professionally certified groomer. I am pet
first aid certified and am a certified dog trainer through Animal
Behavior College.
I adopted my cat Georgie in 2007 and he provides so much entertainment! I also have experience caring for birds including hand feeding. I have taken care of numerous small animals including hamsters, guinea pigs, and chinchillas.
I am happily married to my best friend, Kevin, and we have two beautiful children, Erin and Brendan.
Meet the Pet Sitters & Dog Walkers
Laura Hyde - My name is Laura Hyde. I am a wife and a mother to five beautiful children and a Rhodesian Ridgeback, Nalla, 2. We live in Clarence and find it to be the most perfect combination of country and city. My love for dogs began when I received my first German Shorthaired Pointer when I was 8 on Christmas Eve. She came with a big red bow and everything! We named her Eve, naturally. As a teenager I had a fluffy blonde Newfoundland mix. Zeb lived to see all of my children. He was an old man! Nalla came as a surprise from my husband on Christmas, nearly two years ago. It was a fantastic experience and a dream come true. She is my baby, even at 120 pounds. My passion in life is for autism awareness, as my third son has Asperger's syndrome, dogs, as they are just the perfect companion, and faith, as it is the basis of my being. I also love coffee, reading, sunshine, the great outdoors, and taking photographs (especially of my children). It truly is an honor to have the privilege of entering your sanctuary and caring for your most precious pet. Thank you!

Holly Dobrec - Animals have always been very important to me. I've had the pleasure of having a pet in my life for as long as I can remember. I currently have two cats - Lilly and Punky - and recently adopted a very handsome dog named Snickers from a local rescue. I enjoy my daily walks with Snickers and my evening snuggle time with my kitties. In addition to my fur babies, I am a proud wife and mother to two awesome kids.
Before I joined Walk, Wag, 'N More I was actually a client. They took such wonderful care of my pets while I was away and it was such a relief not having to worry about them. I know that it can be difficult to juggle work, family, and pets and I am proud to be a part of a team that helps people do that. I look forward to the opportunity to care for your pets and assure you that I will give them as much love and compassion as I would my own.
Barb Devine - I have always loved animals, growing up with dogs and cats, chinchillas and gerbils. My husband and I rescued a Siamese mix kitten from the SPCA and he was a joy to have. I've been volunteering at Ten Lives Club cat shelter and fostered a mama cat and her 6 kittens. My children, husband and I loved raising them to be healthy, playful kittens and getting them adopted to great homes. I've enjoyed walking my sister's and friend's dogs and really love taking care of our client's pets for Walk, Wag, 'N More!

Yvonne Smith - Ever since I was little I have always loved animals. I have owned dogs, cats, mice, chinchillas and fish. I have previously worked at a stable taking care of the horses and also as a veterinarian assistant. I am volunteering at the Erie County SPCA in the dog enrichment department and have become a foster parent through the SPCA as well. While fostering, I ended up adopting my most recent puppy, Charlie, a 9-month-old female Boxer/German Shepherd mix. I also have an 11-year-old Boston Terrier. They keep me very entertained. I love working for Walk, Wag, 'N More and I look forward to taking good care of your pets!
